When we went on our first date, I was taken up by your joy. The look in your eyes was intoxicating, and I wanted to know more.
The next day, on our second date, as we sat and talked something told me to not let you go.
On Sunday, I found myself apologizing for pouring out my soul to you. You smiled, and told me it was alright. I felt safe and that's never changed.
In that moment we first kissed, I was sold. I wanted to be yours forever. And since that first kiss, I've never looked back.
When we kneeled across the alter from each other, and I saw that same warm smile and the mischievous sparkle in your eye, I could hardly believe I was lucky enough to be marrying my best friend for eternity -- the man that had given wings to my dreams.
One year later and you still catch me gazing at you like I can't believe you're mine. And even though you tease me about it, it's because I'm unapologetically in love with you.

Aww, so cute! Happy first anniversary! You should try and write letters to him every anniversary, it'll be cool to look back through years from now when you're celebrating your 10th, 20th, 50th, haha.
@Faith -- Oh, I definitely will! I am such a letter writer! The 100 days before we got married I kept a journal and wrote him a letter for every one of those days. He actually proposed to me with a letter, too...so we are love letter people -- me, especially!
