A few years ago my friend, Dana, gifted me a giant fluffy robe. I mean...giant. It's awesome. So the other day I was putting my robe back on it's rightful hook on my closet door, while I sang this song:
From the other room I heard Nathaniel laughing. He walked in and asked me what I was singing. I looked at him, confused, as I answered, "Fuzzy wuzzy?..."
He looked at me with a face that clearly read "I-have-no-idea-what-you're-talking-about-you-crazy."
So we googled it to prove to him I'm not, in fact, insane.
Can you believe that? Nathaniel'd never heard "fuzzy wuzzy." What do those Cubans teach their kids anyway? Sheesh. What a deprived childhood.
But seriously, living in a bicultural marriage can get very interesting. Good times.
P.S.
You should avoid looking at the google images if you search "fuzzy wuzzy was a bear." It's creepy:

That is the scariest picture I've seen all week! I can't believe someone doesn't know that rhyme, haha - but I guess cultural differences will do that.

Lauren...I know. It's unbelievably creepy!
