Simple Memories

Sometimes life's moments can't be properly described with words. And I love words, so that's saying a lot. Today's sentimentality called for a trip down memory lane -- in a way that only photographs can properly describe.

My love, the first summer we started dating.

San Francisco Bay.

The Golden Gate.

Sacramento. My hometown.

My sister-in-law, Becky, and her son, Ethan, on his birth day.

My best friend, Tay, and my mom, in the Happiest Place on Earth.

My mom and her uncle in the tiny town of Blanding, Utah.

My grandparents at Natural Bridges National Monument where my gma's gpa was the first custodian.

Always,

I love looking at old pictures and reliving memories. My inlaws will be taking a trip over to Utah later this year to visit family, I'll have to ask them to take lots of snaps for me to see.

And I wanna go out to CA so badly! xx

@Shermeen -- Utah AND California are both beautiful places. Of course, I am partial to Northern California...it really is the best!

@Amy -- thank you! They definitely bring a smile to my face. :)

I love that most of these pictures are candid.. it really helps to show feelings that much more :)

@Teri Lynn -- thank you. I love taking photos of people in their natural settings just being themselves -- especially people I love, because I feel like it says so much more than just people standing around smiling!

This is great. I love looking back at old photos, remembering what I was feeling or doing, who I was with etc.
On my blog today is a blog party and for one of the posts, I looked back to the very beginning of my blog and highlighted posts I liked/were important, similar to something like this and great to do.
